Guided Pigeon Shooting:

DIY Day: £85 per gun. You will need your own hide and decoys and be given a suitable location to shoot on your own.

Semi-Guided: £200 per gun – The hide, decoys and other equipment will be provided and set up for you and after a safety talk and basic advice you will be left to shoot.

Fully Guided: £300 per gun – As above but with my fieldcraft experience, advice and company for the day.

Introduction to Pigeon Shooting:
A fun and educational half day learning the basics of pigeon shooting. This has proved really popular with people. I will try to pass on as much fieldcraft and knowledge as possible which I have learned in pursuit of the Woodpigeon over many years. How pigeons live and feed throughout the seasons, how to find out what they are eating and and when and where they are feeding, how to position and set up your hide and decoys. I’ll advise you on shooting law and the General Licenses used for pest control. Use of modern devices such as pigeon magnets (whirlies), flappers and bouncers. Also the highly important aspect of shooting safety in the hide and what you need to be aware of on a working farm. I can also give you some advice on the best decoying gear to buy and hopefully save you some money. If you’ve never been pigeon shooting before this will teach you things it would take you many years to learn on your own and get you off to a great start before booking a DIY or Guided Day, or before looking for your own shooting permissions.
The cost for this is £150 for a half day and an additional £50 per person if you wish to learn with a friend or two.
If you would like to combine this with half a day shooting afterwards the cost is £300.
